During my recent business trip to Newark-on-Trent, I stayed at the Fern At Brackenxcapes Villa, which was chosen by my director. The highlight of my stay was certainly the hot tub. After a long day of meetings, relaxing in the warm, bubbling water was absolutely heavenly. It provided the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate for the next day's activities. the hotel offers a range of excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a beautifully appointed spa. The attention to detail in these amenities truly impressed me.

Would be good to have a washing/drying machine but does have a heated towel rack in the bathroom.

Absolutely mind-blowing stay at this cozy cottage! The underfloor heating kept us super warm and the new decor was jaw-dropping. Our dog loved it too! The hosts left us a lovely welcome pack with milk, eggs, and biscuits. The comfy beds and big TV impressed my teenage son. The shower was big and warm, but keep in mind the bathroom is downstairs. The 9 acre field next door was perfect for the kids to play, with giant jenga and a rounders set. The view from the main bedroom was stunning, especially watching the trains in the distance. The puzzle box provided hours of fun! The hot tub was a super bonus, along with the outdoor games and firepit for roasting marshmallows. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again at this lovely, charming location.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Fern At Brackenxcapes and it was a delightful experience. The location was stunning and the cottage itself was clean and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the lovely touches like the children's activity pack and the puzzle box. The underfloor heating was a treat, keeping us warm and cozy during our winter stay. The hosts, Nigel and Laura, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us milk, eggs, and biscuits. The view from the main bedroom was absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed watching the trains in the distance. The access to the field next door was a bonus, as our dog had plenty of space to run around. The hot tub, although it took a while to heat up, was lovely and warm when we arrived, providing us with a relaxing hour of indulgence. I highly recommend The Fern At Brackenxcapes for a wonderful and charming getaway.

Mind-blowing hot tub experience, jaw-dropping views and surrounding area, access to the spacious field for kids to run wild, outdoor games like jenga and golf, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the cozy holiday home with garden views. Private parking was a real treat. I enjoyed feeling like a hiker and cyclist.without actually having to do any hiking or cycling.

Not a fan of the lack of a washing/drying machine. Because who needs clean clothes on vacation, right?

The room at The Fern At Brackenxcapes was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The bed linen was crisp and clean, inviting me for a peaceful sleep. The bathroom had a refreshing shower, perfect to start my day. As a young holiday goer, I loved the casual and relaxed ambiance of the room.

The only drawback I found was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, some might still find it convenient.

The location of this accommodation is perfect, with a 9-acre field nearby for kids to play in and enjoy outdoor activities like giant jenga. the main bedroom offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including a picturesque train passing by. the hosts have also thoughtfully provided a puzzle box for some extra fun and entertainment during the stay.

One small inconvenience was the wood-fired hot tub, which took a while to heat up. once heated, it was lovely and warm, providing a relaxing experience.

Great location for hiking and cycling. Free WiFi was a lifesaver for browsing memes. Views of the garden were so captivating, I almost forgot I was trapped inside all day.

Towels were so fluffy, they practically suffocated me.

We booked Bracken Farm Hot Tub Heaven for a weekend visit to my mum nearby. The cottage was warm and cosy with new decor and underfloor heating. The hosts left us milk, eggs, and biscuits, a nice touch. The beds were comfy and the TV impressed my son. The shower was big and warm, but the bathroom is downstairs. There is a field next door for dog walks and nice pubs nearby.

    Would recommend this hotel.

The wood-fired hot tub took a long time to heat up, so be prepared for that. It was a bit of a hassle for us when the fire went out, and we didn't want to spend hours getting it going again.
