During my recent business trip to Newark-on-Trent, I stayed at the Fern At Brackenxcapes Villa, which was chosen by my director. The highlight of my stay was certainly the hot tub. After a long day of meetings, relaxing in the warm, bubbling water was absolutely heavenly. It provided the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate for the next day's activities. the hotel offers a range of excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a beautifully appointed spa. The attention to detail in these amenities truly impressed me.
Would be good to have a washing/drying machine but does have a heated towel rack in the bathroom.

Absolutely mind-blowing stay at this cozy cottage! The underfloor heating kept us super warm and the new decor was jaw-dropping. Our dog loved it too! The hosts left us a lovely welcome pack with milk, eggs, and biscuits. The comfy beds and big TV impressed my teenage son. The shower was big and warm, but keep in mind the bathroom is downstairs. The 9 acre field next door was perfect for the kids to play, with giant jenga and a rounders set. The view from the main bedroom was stunning, especially watching the trains in the distance. The puzzle box provided hours of fun! The hot tub was a super bonus, along with the outdoor games and firepit for roasting marshmallows. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again at this lovely, charming location.

The access to the field next door was a bonus, as our dog had plenty of space to run around. Loved the cozy holiday home with garden views. Private parking was a real treat. I enjoyed feeling like a hiker and cyclist.without actually having to do any hiking or cycling.
Not a fan of the lack of a washing/drying machine. Because who needs clean clothes on vacation, right?

The room at The Fern At Brackenxcapes was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The bed linen was crisp and clean, inviting me for a peaceful sleep. The bathroom had a refreshing shower, perfect to start my day. As a young holiday goer, I loved the casual and relaxed ambiance of the room.
The only drawback I found was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, some might still find it convenient.

Great location for hiking and cycling. Free WiFi was a lifesaver for browsing memes. Views of the garden were so captivating, I almost forgot I was trapped inside all day.
Towels were so fluffy, they practically suffocated me.

The cottage provided a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a winter getaway. the underfloor heating was a delightful surprise, and our dog loved it too! the beds were comfortable, and the big TV impressed our teenage son. the nearby field was great for walking our dog, and there were plenty of nice pubs in the area.
The wood-fired hot tub took a long time to heat up, so be prepared for that. It was a bit of a hassle for us when the fire went out, and we didn't want to spend hours getting it going again.
